I'm on a competitive high school cross country team, and we do all of our workouts in grass, and sometimes gravel. Everyones uses either spikes or flats, and it's hard to get that edge when I'm running in my Brooks GTS8's. Last week I used my spikes for 6x800's and my calves were shot for the next two days.
Anyone here have any recommendations for a flat that is lightweight but will give me support? I would like ideally like to spend less than 50 bucks.
