I'm looking for a website that sells cheap running apparel (adidas, asics, nike, brooks...). I'm looking to stock up on shorts and some winter apparel. Anyone has any good leads?

Just look frequently for sales. Amazon, eastbay, etc have some good deals sometimes. I got a $100 pair of spikes for $50 one time, and I've gotten shoes marked down from $85 to $60 numerous times. As long as you don't need it right away, just be patient.
I like to stay away from sales on shoes. When they are on sale, that is usually a sign that the shoes are old and the older the shoes are the stiffer the cushion gets. Sales on apparel are different... I would check those out.

Seriously? You believe that?
If, when you enter a shoe store, the salesmen look somewhat awkward, it is because they are struggling to conceal their erections.
Eastbay.com has very good sales. I just stocked up on Saucony Fastwitch for $50 a pair. Check them out.
Another source is Kelly's Running Warehouse (Google it) but it can be hit or miss.
Target sells some stuff by Champion that is not great but cheap.

miss.
Shoes do lose cushioning with just age (the foam in the midsole keeps on hardening). Now the question is does that take 2 years to matter or does it take 10.

Ross and (mostly) Marshall's carry good stuff at cheap prices.

I read this and thought it was pretty funny. Even for me, a former shoe store employee and a constant defender of specialty shops.
I have never actually witnessed this stiffness phenomenon (oh god...). It sounds pretty ridiculous to me. I have, however, encountered adhesive on old shoes losing its... ummm... adhesiveness. But we are talking about shoes from the 80s and early 90s kept in a non-climate controlled building.
As a stockpiler of old shoes, I can say that I have never experienced anything negative about a pair of shoes that is two or three years old.
