The last week or so, I'll wake up in the middle of the night for no reason whatsoever, I just turn over and go back to sleep but this seems unusual to me. I know it is a sign of overtraining, but my workouts lately have been good, and my resting heartrate is still within a few beats of normal. I've been pushing hard for 5 weeks in a row now, but I'm getting quicker in my workouts, not slower. I run a tempo, fartlek, and long run per week, the other 4 days are recover, 7 sessions a week at 60-65 miles. I am also working 50 hrs. per week but I still have time to get adequate sleep....last night I woke up twice. Any advice? Is this an early sign for me to back off, or since my rhr and workouts are good, should I just keep going?
