Ok so I'm a 20 year old male been running seriously for 6 years.
Running 45-60 miles per week my open quarter is 58s
What approach would be best to improve my mile time?
4x400 in 65 seconds with 1 minute rest with five minutes rest after each set x 2.5 sets?
or 10 x 400 in 65 seconds with 1 minute rest all the way through adding rest after each 400 to be able to complete the workout being able to do each q in 65 seconds?
Or do you need to do more 400
PLEASE NO BS. Assuming I have proper base work, what type of speed work do I need?
Someone tell me what it takes? Longer repeats or shorter faster. No joke, no troll!
