Anyone have any opinions on the best use of the last 6 weeks of marathon training?
I am planning on running Chicago, just ran a half in 119:20 (felt great, even splits all the way). I would like to run 248 at Chicago, but I would also like to run faster, if possible. What are some workouts or series of workouts I should focus on? My weekly mileage is 70.
Also, for someone running a 248ish marathon, what are the best marathon shoes? I have always run in DS trainers, and stayed away from the more "racing" type of shoes. I would not be opposed to switching it up.
