Does anybody here have any insight as to the Columbus Marathon course? How does it compare to say Chicago as far as PR-ability? Weather?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I hear it is not as flat as they claim AND that it can get windy weather.
yes, I'm running it as well, and i recently looked at the course elevation map.
it seemed mysteriously hilly for such a flat course. . .
Extremely flat. If ther's any elevation, you won't notice it. It's known as one of the fastest marathon courses in the US. It can get somewhat windy, but I believe that was when it was held later in the year, some time in November. It has only been a few years now that it's been held in October. It's usually great marathon weather. Maybe just a little warm. Overall, a great course, good weather and outstanding organization. Damn, why did I pass on it this year?
