Okay I want to make my college team very badly next year. I am currently a freshman so I will be shooting to make the team in exactly one year. Anyone have a good idea of when I should start building my base for the next cross country season. I have thought about focusing on distance this fall and run a winter half-marathon, and then in the spring try and run some fast track times to get the coaches attention, and then around may start building up a huge base. Suggestions, critques?
