My thoughts exactly. Why didn't his teammates call his sh*t out before he made jackass of himself?

What are you talking about? Enjoy the show. You sound like a guy who gets a lap dance at a strip club and spends the entre time feeling guilty because his wife is at home taking care of the kids.
If you can't handle it, watch Larry King on CNN or something.
before you go bashing him, why don't you rewind your tevo and see that tyson gay had his cocked to the side too.
Oh no!! that idiot Bob something who did the terrible interviews, trackside, is doing interviews here, too...@#$#@$@#...he just interviewed Kobe and Labron....what a jackass
Gay was there and marching -LIKED US outfits- KOBE & LABRON were having a good time- NOT ghetto- those 3 are our most famous athletes-
classic Bob Costas Line: About a country's outfit: "Going Searsucker".
Okay the blonde chilean girl with the digi cam may take the cake tongiht
still watching all these dilweeds beat the drums in the 1st 20 minutes...boring....zzzzzzzzzzzzz
What time were the opening ceremonies at? Are they going to re-play it? What channel? Where is the schedule?????
without track, there would be no Olympics- thank those ancient Greeks-remember- they were sprinters!
if you are not on the west coast, where it just started on NBC, some posters put a link in this thread so that you can watch it on your computer, as it was over, 15-20 hours ago, live in Bejing.
You can thank Zhang Yi-Mou for that...he is extrodinarily creative, and looks for and works with people of similar talent and bent.
He is not driven by politics or nationalism either - e.g. he has worked closely with Chris Doyle on a number of large budget projects. CD is one strange dude, but a truly brilliant cinemaphotographer (see "Hero"). ZYM does not say, "We need a *Chinese* cinemphotographer!". He looks for the best.
And true to form, Chris Doyle can't get much work in Taiwan, where the emphasis is, "we need asian faces". So incompetent people of Asian descent work in the movie industry here. It is actually kind of embarassing. Why does Hou hsiao-hsien go to France to make movies??!? Simple...he can work with anybody he wants...
If China is really going to make it, they need to keep moving in this direction, "We want to be the best", not, "We want to be the best Chinese". The agenda should be, "excellence", not, "racial excellence".
this first 45 minutes is a real snooze...a total bore. now some guys in black body suits are doing ballet on a white canvas floor.....yikes...
Twenty thousand chinamen doing the wave. Big deal. My little kids enjoyed it as they thought it was "the circus", so I suppose there was some redeeming quality there. Bring on the competitive violence I say.
Sports! Sports! Sports! Sports! Sports! Sports!
All those famous Chinese athletes torch bearers in the stadium but not one female distance runner??..what up with that considering they have WR's in the 1500, 3000 and 10,000m including a medal in 1996??...hmmmmmm.....

wow, that girl they showed from gambia was gorgeous
She caught my eye too. She gets the award for most photogenic athlete.
all i can say is that i would give the jordanian olympic chicks an intense and proper shagging.
Ok, that show was out of this world. Ok China you got my attention, you can put on a show. Only one question, why are they playing mariachi Mexican music as Jamaica, Belgium, Vanatu, Israel, and Japan were marching in. Don't get me wrong the mariachi music was beautiful but just out of place!!
Hong Kong is not a country. Why are they marching in as a separate country?
I can't believe people would dsappreciate something like that. It's like we Americans are so accustomed to being bedazzled that we can't watch one of the greatest shows on earth and admit that it is a truly wonderful thing. Again, I can't believe anyone wouldn't appreciate something so spectacular.
