Is it ok that I don't have energy for cross training?

I have been faithfully following Daniels 1500-3K plan for the past few months. I've gradually gotten my mileage up to 50mpw now which is the most I've ever done. My goal is to get to about 70mpw by next spring.

I'm able to complete all the workouts at the designated paces. The rest of the mileage I'm filling in with easy runs of various lengths on dirt. Long run is 8-11 miles.

My issue is that Daniels recommends cross training 3-4x/wk to prevent injury and increase strength. I don't have the energy to do this. So far I'm uninjured and doing ok in that dept.

I'd like to cross train but after the running is said and done I barely have the energy to do more than a five minute walk and two minute stretch.

Should I cut back on the running to cross train or just run and forget about it?

Lord no, don't cross train.

Also, I think Daniels easy paces are too fast. What is it with girls and cross training? Cross training is for when you are injured. It is just pointless fatigue otherwise.

I am so lazy that I don't even have enough energy to do regular training, let alone cross training. Some days just reading letsrun is too much for me.

worry fist about adapting to what you are doing. cross training is great in that it's stress doesn't build up on the same stresses that end up being the limiting factors in how much you can run (if you're doing it right). but your body still has to adjust to the levels of work it is being asked to put out, and honestly, most people who don't get injured don't crosstrain, so I wouldn't worry that you will get injured if you don't cross train. Just train smart, and add something in if you feel like you can without sacrificing volume or quality in your running.
