He doesn't even run cross country. Of course he's clean. Last time I checked, they don't put mud puddles on the track. HTH

I asked the same question about Dara Torres about 2 weeks ago and the Lets Run people deleted the thread! So I guess you can ask this questions about Russians, just not Americans.

I never said a word about Lagat, Komen, or the Kenyans. I was just commenting on Borzakovskiy. I happen to know some distance runners from Russia and the Ukraine. And its common knowledge in their circles the Borzakovskiy is dirty. I have my suspicions about others in the sport but I was responding with facts and not rumors.
I am not against what you are saying... But this sounds more like rumors than facts to me.
Anybody know if Borz is still living/training in Siberia, where it might be a "little" difficult to do out of competition tests?
Doesn't run XC, didn't go to world indoors, only raced indoors once at Stuttgart, so out of the eyes of authorities for a very long time. Twice.
Then right before the OG in the last IAAF meet, drops a 1:42.79.
Uh huh.
Missed numerous major championships (when in great form) because he knew he would test positive.

wow, didn't know that. I'm so jaded now with track and field, its amazing anyone from Russia, China, or Eastern Europe is allowed to compete at all.
This seems to have gotten bad on purpose and the IAAF has done nothing.

I think you'll agree that the lack of out of competition tests is the more worrysome issue. Any testers (willing to) go to Siberia in the winter?
The photos here make him look like a decent guy.

Again i'm not saying he's innocent, but you are just a liar and a slanderous crap of a human being for posting such incredibly false stuff.
Lets see, indoors Borz ran the 800 5 times, the 1k twice, and the 400 once, a 4*800, and he DID run at world indoors in the 4*400 putting himself out there to potentially be tested. So please STFU and learn something. That gives him 10 races and he ran at worlds.
If you're going to take a hit at someone, please have the integrity to know what the hell you are talking about first. Coach D you are nothing but a stain on track and field
The stupidity of men never ceases to amaze me. If you knew Lagat, Templeton and/or Li, you'd have a much more accurate picture of Bernard, never mind the absurdity of your assertion that the IAAF doesn't want money. And if you're so certain that DK was given drugs by Kim, it stands to reason American record holder Bob Kennedy, who shared the same manager and coach as Komen, would have been on the same stuff, too, right?

Yeah, sure. Lagat IS dirty, has been caught, and politics, him being from a "poor, third world nation" got him off the hook. But you wouldn't remark on that, would you? Of course not. Komen was filthy as hell, but very few had the balls to call him on it. When he was caught, the silly "excess caffeine" story was used. Heh. What a pussy.
As far as Borzakovskiy, I'd be curious what evidence Dade County has. Not that I think it's implausible, but my understanding from the Russian runners I know is that he operates outside of the national training program, and thus isn't a part of the kind of farse we've seen come to light in the past 48hrs.

Seriously, you and Coach D need to retire and never return to any track forum ever again. Anyone who posts flat out lies about someone to slander them, needs to be locked up in jail.

Yeah, what does the D stand for Coach D, you lying toad? Deceitful? Dunce? Dirty?
The thread is a waste of time. None of you know the answer, so there is no point.
The russian men do not have the same depth. How many russian middle-distance runners are running 3.35 or better?
borza is my favourite 800m man i hope he's clean.

What on earth are you doing on this board with that attitude?

Well, when a question is posed, it would be one thing if you morons had any chance of answering the question correctly, but when my chances of unearthing the correct answer are just as good if my method is flipping a coin, really, what is the point?
I think the picture of him with El Gerrouj is especially pertinent to this thread. They are both champions who did it the right way: by never getting caught.
Pitiful loser
Heck, you might as well start a similar thread on any athlete that you can imagine.
(I wonder what the Russian think of three Oregonians suddenly placing 1-2-3 in the 800 USOTs?)

The decision to keep samples for 8 years is a major step in the right direction.
Samples should be kept indefinitely, and athletes should be charged and sued (not to mention shamed) when they are caught. That way fewer and fewer will cheat.
