Summer or winter? I still take the heat over the damn cold.
I run better in the cold of winter, but still prefer running in the heat of summer (like to run when the sun is still shining).
I ski and like the winter: you have more options (downhill, cross country, telemark, biathlon) plus there are NO bugs.
Also, you can run in the winter, too, you know.
Up north I like running in the summer. If I run before 8:30 usually its mid 50's, and even in the afternoon its usually high 70's hardly ever breaking the 90's... But in the winter I do not enjoy the weeklong stints of below 0F...
I don't mind cold at all. It can be as cold as it wants. But I hate the ice we get so I'll pick summer.
I love our winters because it is like other places' fall or spring.
