Sorry to those of you who may recall I posted a topic similar to this one a few weeks ago, but I am very concerned regarding my "problem"
Again to recap- It doesn't seem to matter how fit I am, what I eat before the run, what I eat as a regular diet, and the time I take without eating before running, (usually 3 hrs, but sometimes 1-2 after a light snack) but it seems as though whenever I put any kind of substantial effort into a run (be that sub 6:00 pace when fit, sub 6:30/7:00 now) which is longer than 30 minutes or so in duration...(mind you most if not all of my runs are) In the minutes IMMIDIATELY following the run when I get ready to or am already stetching, I find myself moaning and aching in severe discomfort from a pain which seems to come from my stomach...
this is a little bit gross maybe but the only way I have found to relieve this pain is a trip to the bathroom where I do my businesss.... following this perhaps the pain is gone for a few minutes, but then it returns in equal severity and I proceed to repeat the bathroom procedure up to 10 times depending on how bad it is!
I have gone to a dr. for this and had a procedure done where I consumed a barium "drink" (tasted like chalk?) and had an x-ray done, but this was months ago and has solved nothing....
All I know is that I do have a hernia in my body which I was born with (as did my father) and that perhaps I may have an ulcer? the dr. suggested this...
any advice/help is APPRECIATED
