Should be a good bout.

No it wont.
Brother, is Jose gonna get bashed
You might have heard by now that Philadelphia boxing promoter Damon Feldman, who has put celebrities such as figure-skating villainess Tonya Harding and child-actor-gone-bad Danny Bonaduce into the ring in celebrity boxing matches, has a two-fight deal with baseball's black sheep, Jose Canseco.
The one-time Bash Brother is scheduled to face former Cardinals, Green Bay and Philadelphia Eagles kick-return specialist Vai Sikahema at Bernie Robbins Stadium in Atlantic City on July 12.
Here's the thing you might not know if you don't know Sikahema: Canseco is in big trouble, and not because he's cash-strapped from two divorces.
True, Canseco is 6 feet 4 and 245 once-juiced-up pounds. And Sikahema is just 5-9 and fewer than 200 pounds.
Bodoglife.com, an online sports book, has established Canseco as the favorite in its money line at minus-280 vs. plus 200 for Sikahema (So, you have to bet $280 to make $100 on a Canseco victory while a $100 bet on Sikahema will make $200 if he wins).
"I'm a real athlete, and a real heavyweight," Canseco told Bernard Fernandez of the Philadelphia Daily News.
Canseco, 43, claims to be trained in tae kwon do, kung fu and muay thai, whatever that is. Then again, he claimed Roger Clemens wasn't at his pool party.
Anyway, we're telling you, Canseco still is in big trouble.
See, Sikahema's trademark touchdown celebration - punching the goal-post padding like a heavy bag - was rooted in the two-time Cardinal's Pro Bowl past.
Sikahema, 45, was a Golden Gloves boxer in the Gene Lewis Boxing Club in Mesa as a kid, boxing from the time he was 8 years old until he entered Mesa High where he became a football star for the Jackrabbits.
The native of Tonga and relative of 1996 Olympic boxing silver medalist Paea Wolfgramm, Sikahema once boxed in the National Golden Gloves Championships.
Oh, and he's been back in the gym for the past year and a half while working as sports director at WCAU-TV, Philadelphia's NBC affiliate.
"Brother, is Jose gonna get bashed"
I agree, which is exactly why it will be a good bout.

In that case, yes it will.
how do I see the fight on tv?
Jose is one of the few honest athletes in pro sports. He admits that without drugs he would have only hit about 200 homers, whereas with the drugs he hit 459 or so.
Runners who use epo get about a 10 second per mile booster shot.... El. G. without epo ain't nothing but a 3:53 miler... Ryun, Walker, simply the best....

I don't know anything about this fight so I'm not disagreeing with anything that you are saying, I just wanted to point out that muay thai is a legitimate form of martial arts. Muay thai is Thai kickboxing, and is the national sport of Thailand. This is not to say that Canseco is any good at it or that he will win, only that muay thai IS a serious sport.
jose will be gased in 40 seconds
I'd rather see the Manute Bol/Refridgerator Perry rematch.

You really think John Walker would beat a clean El G? I mean Walker was great, but El G's running is breathtaking, and I don't think it was all drugs.
Vai kicked the living SHIT out of Canseco.
Just buried him with two quick lefts and Canseco went down faster than a Tri-Delt.
Great stuff.
Ha. Vai knocked his ass out and then smack-talked him.

Mr. Canseco is an embarassment to everyone in the world of entertainment.
Want to see muay thai? Google: Anderson "The Spider" Silva. The "classic" muay thai clinch: Hands wrapped around back of opponent's neck while you repeatedly bring knees to opponent's skull.
Muay Thai is the national sport in what country? Duh, Thailand.
Eight Strikes:
r. hand
l. hand
r. elbow
l. elbow
r. foot
l. foot
r. knee
l. knee
Check your best MMA guys and they will be trained in some sort of Muay Thai.

Since Jose Canseco is good enough for Madonna, he's good enough for me.
Madonna wanted Jose to plant his seed deep inside her uterus and create Canseco-donna. A creature that has great ball-slugging, dancing, singing powers with incredible arms and a high propensity to lie through it's teeth (including Madonna-like gap-tooth teeth).
I just learned that Vai Sikahema is related to Jon Heder (Nap. Dynamite) through marriage. Weird.
Always loved watching Sikahema's returns, but seeing him knock Canseco's ass out was even better.

How interesting. I read last month that Jenna Elfman is related to Danny Elfman (lead singer of Oingo Boingo) through marriage, too!

Sikahema had about 80 amateur boxing matches.
Conseco was an idiot for thinking he had any chance.

What a connection, Vai Sikahema - Peter Fonda:
Vai Sikahema related to Jon Heder related to Jenna Elfman related to Danny Elfman married to Bridget Fonda granddaughter of Henry Fonda. That's better than any Kevin Bacon connection.
