It's obvious that peak performance in running is also due to the little extras that are done during training. How often do you all do strength exercises, core exercises, drills, etc? Please give me an example of a weekly plan for these little extras that make all the tougher of a runner. I do have 2-3 hours available to dedicate to these and have been doing core 2-3 days and minimal free wts but would like some detail with those that have seen success with these, either in college or post-college running. Your input is greatly appreciated!
