I used to run shirtless by myself on trails all summer, but lately I've been running in a city park populated by loads of babe-chicks. Where I used to kind of slump and shuffle, I now run about two inches taller, my shoulders are back, my hips have come forward, my knee lift is great, and it feels like I'm floating along, Kenyan-style. Niggling aches and pains are clearing up. I run slower on my recovery days so that I can return a smile on a moment's notice (yet I'm still usually the fastest among the penguins jogging around).
