As I am waiting for the 100m results, I streaming through some of the trial 5k pictures, and I had a sense of wanting to improve my times tremendously.
I have been doing 60 MPW for the last 3 weeks with one day off/week. All but one run is done in singles.
Weekly long run of 13 and medium long run of 11.
What are the chances of running injury free if I bump up my mileage from 60 to 90+ in the next week. All I really have to do is keep my same training program and add a 5miler each morning. The day off I usually take can be turned into an easy 6-8miler.
Should I keep the same intensity or lower it down a bit.
I am 3weeks away from entering Daniels Phase2.
