Malmo said to get in doubles. Period.
I wanted to do just that, but every time the alarm went off, I turned it off and slid back under the covers. I have now found a fool proof way to get in doubles. Every day. No excuses.
A morning paper route!
I have about 4 miles to do. I drive to the end of the block, run up one side tossing papers on the porch, then back up the other side of the street. I drive to the end of the next block and repeat.
I know it's not the same as a continous run, but it's still a good way to get in a morning workout that I otherwise wouldn't get in, and it's got to help out with my running. On top of that, I get paid to do it!
So, those of you struggling to rise and shine to get in your first of your doubles...get a morning route!
