It may be early but I think Nurani Sheik is gonna be the stud out of this years group. He hasn't been running for very long and now the guy is pretty beastly, Tim Moore will be special too. I don't really see Lockhart were Moore and Sheikh are.

i think your wrong about Bobby, i think he is def. were Moore is. I think Sheik is gonna kill both of them though. in a big meet like Nats I just got a feeling he is gonna be top 10- 15, and I don't see Bobby or moore at 10-15 status. I say Sheik is the only Freshman comming home with an indivdual award from NCAA's. Good luck to all you guys though. I'm sure its gonna be a heck of a race.
Tim
Isn't Kip Kangogo a freshman? If so, he'll likely be the top placing frosh at nationals.
Kip is a sophmore.
Tim
To play devil\'s advocate, don\'t discount any NAIA runners.
There is a \"freshman\" Ethiopian who was recruted to Life University, but quickly switched to McKendree when Life lost athletics late in the summer.
Any one see this guy, Araya Haregot, run yet?
I don't see Moore losing to Lockhart this year. I do see him as the top freshman though. Nurani hasn't faced the competition that Tim has yet. Tim has two second places behind a teammate and then he placed 6th at ND Invite behind guys like Hall, Sage, Mobley and Luchini, all capable of top 15-20 performances. He'll be an All-American if things go right for him.
