Well the breaking 30:00 10k thread has been popular and enlightening--how about the sub 14:00 5k thread? For those speedsters who have broken 14:00 in the 5k, what was your training like? How many miles did you run? What kind of workouts? How much did you taper for key races. (Also, I live at altitude. How might one modify a 5k training schedule for altitude?)
