I am wanting to do a time trial tonight on the track solo for the hell of it.
What distance is best for a 5k prediction?
1.5 miles?
2 miles?
I do not want to run a full 5k or 3mile, btw.

Week6: I am currently at 40miles this week, and I am hoping to get to 60miles this week. Tomorrow will be a 13miler. So, 40+13=53miles...I need to run 7miles total tonight to reach my weekly goal.
I am doing all of my runs at a fairly easy pace. I do 6-8 25second strides 3x/week, and one longish run per week(11-13miles) as well.
My Prs: 16:40 5k
36: 10 10k
4:12 1500
2:03 800
These were all done in the last 8 months.
My training paces are around 7:00-7:15... recovery is usually 7:30 pace.
On Tuesday I did 4miles easy, 3 mile tempo in 19:00...very comfortable effort.
I am hoping to run sub 8 for the 1.5mile trial and sub 10:55 for the 2mile time trial.
What should I do, and what do you predict?
