What is a good website to start a running log?
get a spiral and keep it in there. Much more effective than online, at least IMO, becuase you can always have access to it , you can enter things how you want and you don't have to worry about loosing your data.

I agree, but would suggest Excel only because then you can summarize your data automatically rather than by hand.
Have a column each for day, month, year, distance, time, route, comments. Separate tab for races.
yes, a good idea. I kept mine like that for a year or so then got lazy and got a spiral.
