What are people's thoughts on these sandals for runners?
My right foot overpronates so should I get sandals with a higher arch?
Softer footbed?
strap on the back going to give me any more support or no?
somebody must have answers to the questions?

They are good for runners, especially people prone to PF.
All of the "classic" footbeds have the same arch. The soft footbeds are a waste. The padding in them is just compressed in a couple of weeks.
A heel strap (most commonly in the milano) is unneccessary. The "Arizona" is more than adequate in keeping your foot in place.
Hope that helps.

I wear birks. And I have average arches. I LOVE THEM. They're worth every penny.
I prefer the real Birks, but couldn't pass up a pair of knock-offs on sale at Payless for $7. They were harder to break in than the real thing--and yet of the various Birks in my collection, they are lasting about as well.
I haven't had PF since I've been wearing Birks or cheap imitations. Used to get it a lot.
I swear by my birks. Got them because of PF and never stopped wearing them. They are like my slippers, first things that go on in the morning, and quickly slip into them when I get home in the evening.
I wear them pre-race, post race, etc. One pair usually lasts me 5+ years with maybe one re-sole needed. Actually, it is just about time for a new pair of Arizonas.
They are the most comfortable shoes in the world.
Gotta agree with everyone else. I have the clog-like one. They are like orthodics for your feet.
go with the firm kind
Ditto.
Just got a pair of sandals for the summertime.
But a word of warning: Don't wear your clogs, like I did, while waxing your cross-country skis. The drip stains don't come out.

Are there any other kind of orthodics?
Anyone under the age of 40 posting on this thread? I got to go with the Keen sandals. I haven't had PF though.

By far the ugliest shoe ever produced. There must be another shoe to assist with the pronation.
anybody know where i could find these size 11.5 or (44)for cheapest online?
looking for a typical brown (arizona) 2 strap style
They exist for many ailments though they are probably a waste.
if you have custom orthotics, it's likely that your podiatrist can "build" a set of your specific orthotics into birkenstocks. it's expensive ($250 for the orthotics plus the cost of the birkenstocks) but the results are good.
I had a pair of the clogs and they were never ever comfy. If I wear them without socks, the rub away at the skin on my arch and big toe.

I love wearing them while I read Marxist feminist poetry and smoke organic weed.
