i am back to training after two plus years of off and on recreational running and am planning on running a fall marathon. My question is do i have to train any faster than what i plan to run come November (2:50- 6:45 pace) during any phase of my running (tempos, workouts, runs, etc.) and if sohow much faster than marathon pace should any given part of the training be? i'm just over running 5:00 repeat miles...
