I viewed the other threads on starts but none were really too helpful.
I go to a small school with pretty much no coaching and want to help out one of our 400m guys who wants to get better. I am a solid distance guy but I used to do sprints so I have a rough idea of what to do however, its been a few years and even then I wasnt that great of a sprinter. My Questions:
- What are the basics of the blocks? What are some things I should have him focus on when coming out of the blocks?
