Hi all, I'm a junior in college at a small D1 university, going to be a senior next year. I really want to go out with a bang, and I'm looking to increase my miles. I'm hoping that some people here can suggest a general progression for me that I can compare against what I'm currently planning.
After coming back from an injury, I did one week at 35ish to get back into the feel of running, then weeks of 63, 55, and 62, all in singles. Malmo, if you're reading this, I know, step 1: start doing doubles.
Last week, my shins were really bugging me, so I replaced my shoes, but to no avail. I took the past half week off, and going into this week I am trying to figure out where I want to pick up, and where to go from here. I am hoping to hit around 90-100 mpw by the end of summer.
My highest week of mileage in the past is around 85, though the most I've ever hit for more than a month or so straight is closer to 70-75 mpw. Any good advice would be appreciated!
