I bet you're right!
He went 3.58 (mile), 1.47, 3.36, 1.46 in his last four consecutive races winning each time.
Thus I would conclude he has peaked. He has trained too hard for too many years and thus has no chance to improve the rest of this season.

thought this was worth drudging up at a time like this.
Webb is still not a big enough flop to talk up a 3:38 1500 meter runner.
A year ago Webb was a 3:46 miler, now is fighting it out with guys who have barely broken a 4 minute mile. Remember, the bad old days when Webb was getting beaten by the likes of Josh Spiker. You are now in the Webb zone, a place where great talent vaporizes and is fighting for table scraps with NCAA talent.

Truly impressive. This was nice to see after the "women's" 1,500m at Stanford last week. Symmonds and the gang should be ashamed.
Wheating, should he stay healthy, has a 3:34 in him!

Fun to look back now.

Wheatings 3:51 is the equivalent to 3:34.7.
NICE!!!
I wished it was possible to do that with an old Dyestat thread where I said there is no way Robbie Andrews would win the NCAA 800 if Wheating runs all out. I said Wheating was heads and shoulder better than NCAA competition; I said he would win both races with out a problem.
Rip Van Winkle award?
