Bumbalough is a mosnter talent (looking more and more like he will reset records from 1500-5k indoor/outdoor)
Maybe indoor ones at mile/3k, but the outdoor records are pretty tough (as is the indoor 5k) Here are Gtown's school records:
Indoors:
Mile: 3:57.36 John Gregorek
3000: 7:51.46 Kevin King
5000: 13:39.37 John Trautmann
Outdoors:
1500: 3:34.95 Steve Holman
Mile: 3:51.34 John Gregorek
3000: 7:48.4 Rod Koborsi
5000: 13:26.65 Rod Koborsi
Check out the runners in the '90s and early '00s on the G-Town All-time Outdoor list. Where have the 400/800M G-town runners gone?

There were many years that you needed to run sub 49.0 and/or 1:50.0 to make the "B" relay team. They were just SICK during the 90s and early '00s.
He has two more seasons of indoor eligibility and one season left of outdoor.
I believe that if he stays healthy and can train consitently thru June 2010 he has an excellant shot to run 3:35 and 13:20.
I know that it gets exponentially harder to cut down time, but he has gone from 14:10 to 13:40 in two years (missing xc and indoor in '05 and '06 due to some injuries). Not out of question to think he won't take off 15-20 more seconds in two years especially if he can stay healthy.
Looks like he'll have a good chance to go under 3:40 this spring/summer maybe 3:39.
Don't know if he'll ever run the 5k indoors though.

So you could say....
they used to be sick with the stick but now they don't do shit?
Is that supposed to rhyme?
