for a 4:57 freshman mile, what is his potential as a sophomore, junior, and senior.....saying that he grows about 4-6 inches in the coming years, trains the way he is supposed to with the ideal mileage, and goes all out in races.

How much he will improve will depend on how hard he has worked so far, how much he will grow, and how hard he works in the future. 4:57 is a good start though, it would not be unreasonable to think that he could go sub 4:20 as a senior. While that would be tough, he could definitely be sub 4:30 by the time he's out of high school. However, this is all assuming that he concentrates on running and works hard. Predictions for certain years are tough because one doesn't know when he will experience the most growth.
When i was a freshman in high school i ran 4:52 without training in the off season. The next year a ran about 40 miles per week and got it down to 4:35. The next year about 40 miles a week again because i was kinda out of it and only dropped to 4:30. My senior year a averaged about 50 mpw in the winter and ended up running 4:20 for both of my last races. It sucked not getting under 4:20. My last race i really thought i could have hit 4:16 but just died on the last 200. So from where you are you can easily get to that if not better if you work at it.
