~120 miles of running and probably twice that much walking
~120 miles of running and probably twice that much walking
310 miles and no PR's, mainly racing in May & June
I've had some good workouts though
for all the hotshot shit on this board about 100 mile weeks, 13 mile easy runs, and doubling this is some pretty pathetic totals. only 1 person broke 400.
i'm an old fart and did 350
I guess I am pretty lame with only 236 miles. I was shooting for 250, but blew off running a few days to ride a bike.
No PRs, but I did break 34:00 in a 10K for only the 2nd time in my life. Hopefully a couple of PRs in May.
215 miles and a 10K PR at 40:23.
Yes i am slowpoke compared to you guys but i have only
been running 2 years and i am 41.
I have ALOT of respect for you people because i know
how hard just a 60 miles week is!
240 miles on 26 runs
ran a 16:38 road 5k on hilly course
24/m
280 on 30 runs with three days off cause I was sick. No racing.
Did about 320 miles in April in about 50 runs total (if you want to count my morning jogs as "runs"). Haven't raced yet, but hope to be in sub-15:00 5k shape by the end of summer.
First time I've done this much mileage. I was a low-15:00 5k guy in high school, but didn't run in college for a variety of reasons. My high school coach was a big believer in low mileage/high intensity, so we never did more than about 45-50 in one week (and usually much less). I'm finally getting back into shape now after, oh, 6 years with virtually no running.
Been doing basically two kinds of workouts at this point: 50-60 minute fartleks of 5:00 on/5:00 off; and 25-30 tempos. Planning on hitting the track for some faster stuff soon.
247 miles. 16:10 5k
