Does anyone have experience with this shoe? It looks like a minimal version of the old hayward and i'm interesting in getting a pair.

loooks like junk
I just got a pair not too long ago. I was talking to some Nike reps over the weekend (at the Boston Marathon). Oddly enough, some had never even heard of the shoe. They did not seem to think the shoe would be very good considering it only cost $68. I have only done one run in them. They seem like they would be a decent workout shoe or a heavier racer for 5K 10K. I picked them up hoping they would be a marathon shoe, but I think I am going to stick with my training shoes instead. I think comparing them to the Hayward or Skylon is a fair assessment. They definitely have a softer cushy feeling.
they look pretty nice, i might check em out
I'm wondering if these are "technical" running shoes, or street-wear Kohl's/ Sears type shoes. The different color schemes available lead me to believe the latter, or maybe they are aimed at high schoolers? Plus if the Nike reps didn't know about them maybe they are from the Kohl's line?
I got them 2 weeks ago from eastbay and really like them. Lightweight, hard feel to them when land. Fine OoB. Feel a bit like the Jasaris.
They are "technical" running shoes. They have Zoom Air in the forefoot and Phylite in the heel. They are designed to be a road racing flat. If you really are looking for a light weight racer, wait for the Nike Luna Lite racer to come out. It is ridiculously light, but still feels significantly cushy.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
