Today I ran 5x1000m with 90 seconds recovery (jog across the field and stand around for the remaining recovery) in 3:09, 3:08, 3:07, 3:06, 3:02.
I ran this workout alone in flats. The workout was tough, but I could have done another one...just not in 3:02 but probably in the 3:06-7 range.
My road 5k PR is 15:59 from a year and a half ago, but I'll be running a track 5k in 2 weeks. Is sub 16:00 a realistic goal? I'm a bit doubtful of my fitness because I haven't been feeling well lately, until the past couple of days.
