Poor Wally,
Your tool is probably one of those squat screwdrivers.

Wasn't Schoener a Michigan High Schooler? Gull Lake maybe? Is this the same guy?
Grand Blanc, a dozen miles from me.
Lance ran a 2:50 and change. Last I looked that makes him a relatively decent runner.
If you are not signed up for their E-Mail news letter --you better do it no. I've found most issues extremely interesting.

Yeah, definitley self-promotion. As soon as he crossed the finish line, he asked for a laptop so he could talk himself up on letsrun.

Wow.
Living at altitude!
thanks Tiger...
Way too many bizzare haters out here.
Anyway Dire Tune is a real talent. I must admit that i thought Askale Megersa would win.. I knew these two ethiopians would win the race.
For those that decry the tactic... i ask you... you know what we are going to do... so if you know it already... train and try to beat us at our game.
Its nothing new
Haile, Wami, Derartu, Yifter, Adere, Defar, all did it. Why waste energy leading if you can't sustain that lead.
If they want to change that ... let them give $ for leading at 30 & 40 K .. Then you will see diff tactics.
Anyway, great day for Ethiopian marathoning.
It will be interesting to see how we do @ olys.
Strong team...
So far it looks like
Wami, Adere and Bizu Bekele on time.. but Tune may get selected over B Adere.. who may drop to the 10,000
It will be our strongest marathon team ever. But the conditions will not favor us.
Anybody else take the shuttle from the drop of point in Hopkinton to the village this morning? An HOUR on the school bus - why don't they tell you that so you can choose to walk up the hill instead - I don't know maybe more than a mile but less than two?
Thanks BAA, take the money to get all these people in the race but don't get the job done.

It seems like these complaints happen at every marathon. What do you want, a limo?
Is Tune juiced?

You are a moron.
So you mean, why did they make you do what everyone else has to do, and has done for years? Was it some kind of surprise to you that you had to take the bus to Hopkinton?
You are mad at the BAA because you were too stupid to research a race you trained 18 weeks for?

The only difference between you and a dentist is that a dentist can fill a cavity.
where is Nick from? I think I remember him running in high school and then I didn't hear about him again. Is this Nic Arciniaga from Northern California.
