RESULTS HERE

Congrats to Boulet and Russell on making the team. Iowa State's Lisa Koll defeated them at 10k 2 weeks ago at stanford. In 4 years we are hoping she gets a shot at them at the marathon trials. Big congrats to Kastor.

Megan Hepp ran a negative split on the back half to finish 12th. 2:37:29, she isn't even sponsored by anyone and beat all but one Hanson's girl. Not to shabby for a marathon rookie basically.

I just came from downtown. This girl's whole family was standing by the finish line, they were saying that they hoped she would be top 15. They were FREAKING out because she was in the top 10 and she ran by in 4th on the final straight (guess she got passed) her mom was crying. They were saying apparently she barely ran 2:47 in the heat at chicago to qualify.

Amazing run.

It looks like O'Neill dropped around mile 23, but what happened to Elva? Don't see her in the results or on the race website's running commentary as having dropped.
