ok, you will probably laugh BUTthis happened to me, i felt exactly the same way, i actually struggled with this for almost 12 months, I just seemed to get slower and slower and my stride worse and worsefor me after about 6 months, i was almost certain it was due to tight hamstrings/tight hipswhat ended up fixing it - yoga... i do slow flow/hatha yoga 2 to 3 times a week. after about a month a felt like a totally new runnerlet me completely open my stride againmaybe it won't work for you but it can't hurt, it is awesome for stretching(avoid the power yoga stuff, find something like slow flow or hatha)

I think that I've lost my stride. I used to run a certain way back in the day when I was in hs and college and now that I am 28 it's not the same. There is not as much knee bend and as a result it's hurting my hammys.
I've tried to go back to the way that I used to run but I cannot run that pace without it being too fast for my runs.
Has this every happened to anyone? Any kind of advice.
If it helps I run 35 mi/week all around a 8:15-8:45 pace.
