Hey guys
What do all the guys here who run the marathon do for training in the weeks after the race. Do you guys have complete rest or do you carry on training. When is a good time to get back into doing some faster stuff (like tempo running)?
I don't want to say what i ran exactly (sub 2h50m in London yesterday off around 60-70miles a week) because i don't want you guys to know who i am (i'm not elite so will just get ripped on). Yesterday was my first marathon and now i can hardly walk. Stairs were a real problem this morning! When should i start thinking about returning to training? Will running for a couple of miles this evening help get some of the soreness out of my legs? What do you suggest i do?
