This sounds completely retarded, no i am not a troll, somebody only answer if they can input on this. I am just starting my track season this monday ( i cant explain, my mileage has to be limited tho)and plan on starting workouts 2 weeks from then, the thing is i want to take sundays off and only run 3 miles a day, so only 1600 meters worth of repititions, one mile warm up, one mile cool down (800 is my event). I want to do heavy speed though.
Basically, could anybody take the coe/martin, pace training thing, and smash it down for somebody running 20 miles a week? If you can't then do not reply, i am a firm believer in high mileage = stregnth = speed but its not an option right now, and either is pulling the plug on the season, and either is asking my coach for advice.
