I have been averaging 105 miles a week for the past 10 months. At the end of February I ran a 14:35 5k indoors. Last Tuesday I did a 6 x 1600m workout in 4:53, 4:53, 4:51, 4:50, 4:48, and 4:45 with an average rest of 2:02. On Friday I was in Durham, NC at Duke to run a 10k on the track. Two minutes before the race I was walking to the starting line with the other competitors and the meet director came over the PA system and cancelled the race because of lightning in the area. What would my time have been if the race would have gone on as scheduled?
