How much of a difference does it make if you wear racing flats or spikes for a workout compared with just regular trainers ie asics gel fortitude II? Does it make your legs stronger if you wear just regular trainers? I usually like to wear flats or spikes only on race day so that my shoes feel unusually light on race day and I feel faster. What does letsrun think? Is it better to wear trainers or flats or spikes for a track workout?
