I always wonder why people do this:
"Joey ran a 4.23 yesterday"
instead of
"Joey ran a 4:23 yesterday"
Most people use a colon when separating minutes from seconds, a period separating seconds from tenths. My watch does it too: 9.23 is a terrible 100-meter dash time, but great for a 3200.
Which one do you use? Why? It's driving me nuts!
