As an overall indication of success, York has done well. Nearly every record that you see here has been broken somewhere else, but overall this is pretty good. And I thought York had a 1.49 800, but I am apparently incorrect. The only teams to do as well are those with their own superstars- an Alan Webb or a Dathan Ritzenhein, just like York had Don Sage (and earlier Jim White and Ron Craker and Marius Bakken). In fact, the same day Sage ran 8.42.89, Ritz ran the 3200 in 8.42 and less change.
