I will try to post splits tomorrow as they come. Target splits are for 2:06:50 with the first two 5km splits being 15:10 and then dropping down to 15 flat the rest of the way. The second group will target 2:10 and change. The women will have 2 rabbits who will target 2:24 pace. The 'old man' Lee Bong Ju is running.

14:31 at 5km with a huge pack
29:40 at 10km. still at large pack of 15 or 20
ladies split 34:09 at 10km. 2 chinese and 4 africans...
15km in 45:12 with the lead pack still 15- 20 guys
51 minutes in and Lee Bong Ju getting dropped. now 20 meters back...
women 51:44 at 15 km. only 2 chinese and 2 africans...
20km in 1:00.21. Still a large pack. One pacemaker dropped back to try and bring Lee Bong Ju back into the race
ladies through 20km in 1:09.11. same 4 women...
the mens lead back is starting to fragment.
Close to 25km, there is still one Korean very close to the front. 2 other Koreans are around 100m back, and fading. Lee Bong Ju is trying to come back, but it will be difficult. The Korean close to the front is hurting though, and with his small size (1.62) looks like he is 'sprinting' to keep the pace with the lead pack.
The front guys are maintaining good pace. Soon through 25km.

Lead runners, through 25km in 1:14.04. Good running conditions, cool and sunny - perfect day for good times.
Not many specators on course, compared with Japan. Korea has no marathon culture, in comparison with Japan. The residents of Seoul don't realize what they are missing.

130 for 30k would be 20635, so they are running faster than that.
