Mutola for the 8th time, but the ukrain can be good, and also pay attention to Mayte Martinez. Some chance for the Italian Cusma for a bronze, no chances for the Australian Lewis.
And, after these preview, probably I become a stupid, but I like to joke....
The joke is made!:
1 1 2 Tamsyn Lewis AUS 2:02.57 .
2 5 239 Tetiana Petlyuk UKR 2:02.66 .
3 2 144 Maria de Lurdes Mutola MOZ 2:02.97 .
4 6 64 Mayte Martínez ESP 2:03.15 .
5 4 88 Jennifer Meadows GBR 2:03.51 .
6 3 111 Elisa Cusma Piccione ITA 2:03.76

Cherkose in third did a nice job of fighting for the silver... but in the end he had to make up too much ground. I believe he will break kenenisa's 5k world record. He is very very talented.

take 1s off for running it solo ( no pacer to draft him thru 400m ) & maybe another 1s for indoor to outdoor track considerations & that gives the kid ~ 1'42.8 outdoors currently
being only an 18y ole, he may get stronger in the next few months, & coud be in 1'42-low/mid shape by bejiing
