Last year I ran a 4:58 mile and i want to run a 4:30 Mile this year. Last year my training was horrible and I probably ran 10-15 miles a week and I still ran a 4:58. I ran cross country for the first time this year and i got up to 40 miles a week. At beginning of xc season I got appendicitis and missed most of the season. Now Im running about 25 miles a week. Is it possible for me to get to a 4:30 before this season is over and how?? Ima Senior. my Freshman year i ran a 8:05 mile.
