good for them, setting themselves up for a future outside of running, too many kids think they will go to UO, UW, etc and become a professional runner and many barely see a varsity race during their 4-5 years

Princeton is probably superior to Harvard at the undergraduate level, though Harvard ranks higher overall because of its grad schools. But obviously a lot depends on what you want to study ... MIT is better than both in scientific areas. Penn and Dartmouth have better business schools.
Just in case anyone cares, neither of the op's guesses are right.
Saretsky knows his stuff, Harvards gonna be real good...
what kinda ass do you think they'll get at Harvard?? Let's be real here...college is about the EXPERIENCE...if you're down with studying then Harvard is great...but lets face the facts, none of these guys will get a true college EXPERIENCE!
The "ass" at Harvard is much better than Princeton or Penn.
Harvard is Harvard, and Harvard is in Boston. (Cambridge)
If there is anywhere in the country to get the "true college experience" it has to be Harvard Square.
I get the feeling you've never been to Cambridge.
they will get clean, smart ass--better than drunk all the time, stupid, mono ass
cabral to priceton, jarret to upenn
Too bad for them but Harvard is too tough for most people to get in.

This kid will graduate college dumber than when he went in.
It really isn't that tough to get in to the ivies....
If you're “athletically” talented enough you can get in with a M & CR of 1200 to harvard. The standards only get lower at the other ivies (had a friend get into Brown with a 1010).
The coach just has to put you very high on their recruiting list. This was told to me by a former harvard coach a few years back.
Cabral to Princeton
Jarrett to Penn
I've heard that too. Is it easier to get financial aid if you are an athlete?
harvard does nothing with their guys...their school records suck and so does their team...nice job guys on possing away your running career...for a school with an overrated reputation..should've gone to stanford or some school that has a good program....

not at the ivys
As far as I\'ve seen you don\'t need to be smart to get into Harvard if you\'re athletic enough. And let\'s face it, Harvard is infamous for giving out easy A\'s.
So basically you're sayin that any dumbass can get into Harvard if they're athletic enough? So what college has tougher academic standards than Harvard for admitting athletes?
Not that I know firsthand, but from what I've heard Stanford is the elite school that actually lowers its standard the least for athletes.
Try the top academic schools in D3, I know of a 152 kid with a 1300 that got rejected.
Welcome to inferiority complex central. Anyone else care to take a swipe and get it off your chest?
