Robby Andrews of Manalapan all the way, with that 1:52 speed and his improved endurance i think he has a shot next year.
May want to keep an eye on Corey Leslie from Ohio.
1:49 relay split and 4:07 mile as a junior.
His cross country improved big-time and is looking for big things!
$:07 certainly looks good, but remember theres been $;07 sophs before who didn't break four (Leaf Barnes.)
elias gedyon of loyola, ca: 155, 405 for 1500 as an 8th grader and just completed one of the best freshman xc seasons for ca freshmen ever. when he ran 155 and 405 he was "only" about 10 mins for 3200, now he can average faster than that pace for 3miles/5k
I agree on Steve Magnuson in Tucson, he improved 80 seconds in the past 18 months. 4:01 1500 as a freshman is impressive.
Perkins breaking 4? gimme a break.

too bad he almost got expelled from school for a stunt he pulled this fall.
what did andrew perkins almost get kicked out of school for?
bump
ferris won't do it. he sees himself as a 400/800 runner. he doesn't put in the miles, doesn't have nearly enough aerobic development to break 4.

he never split 1:49. I heard about 1:52 split in the 4x800 at state meet.
3:50.99 1500 to his name though.
Ryan Gregson has run 3.43 1500m which is 4.00 equiv.....
