Is Morrison running?
Is Morrison running?
I don't believe Paul is running, but Ryan McKenzie is running, he should be in the top 5.

Look out, "Bling" Boorsma has been on a roll.
Don't underestimate Former Champ Mark Bomba
What about women? Will Alex Becker be running? I don't know about the Candadien women's scene.
Alex Becker is running along with 3 other all americans in Danette Doetzel (providence), Marie Louise Asselin (West Virginia) and Anita Campbell (Washington).
Megan Metcalfe (WVU) has to be considered the favourite she is the Canadian Champion over 5000 meters, although watch out for Douma-Hussar Guelph is pretty close to her hometown of Cambridge. Others to keep an eye on would be Lisa Harvey, Beth Whightman and Hilary Stellingwerff.
The distance is an odd 7k this year so that will definetly alter things a bit and the course being muddy could hinder the miler types like Douma and Stellingwerff.
rmac ftw - look for kassap to be up there too
Kassap is not nearly as effective in cross country compared with road running. He is basically a marathon specialist. If he makes top 15 that would be good, but he might be further down. He is not really suited to wearing spikes.
Ghost in Korea
i heard milne and sully are 1-and-0..
impressive, i think
Sully tied it up at world cross although I have no doubt his lack of attendance this year can be attributed to Milne's outstanding fitness.
it will snow 3 feet and everyone will be forced to don snowshoes... in which case shane carlos will win by a landslide.

I'm curious to know how you can be so sure of these things. I understand you are a Ghost in Korea, but I'm pretty sure he is Kassap in Toronto and hasn't raced overseas.
Looking at his past experience, he does have a recent 2nd at OTFA cross and solidly won OTFA junior cross in 2001, mere months after arriving in Canada.
Danny ran Nationals in 2004 and he was 28th. I don't think that's his best effort, and I don't think there are 15 guys in this country who are better runners than him at 10k-marathon, cross country or otherwise.

Wasn't that the year he ran two marathons 3 weeks apart in 2:14 and 2:17 less than two months before Nationals?
If so, you're likely right that it wasn't his best effort.
Benninger is racing track at ND still but if he is in the race he's got a shot ftw.
snowed a little last night. Course is going to be snow covered tomorrow.

Worst picks ever, both your boys DNF'd in the first 5km.
"Milne doesn't have a chance. Since when has he become a good cross runner?
Murphy, Watson and Thorson will be in the top 15, but not all in the top 10."
what's your response now? watson and murphy 4&5.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
