I posted about this same thing maybe 8 months ago and in general the posters made fun of me, said I was wrong etc.
Here is what I did: I was 6'1" 150-155 lbs after indoor track. I was running maybe 60 miles a week and watching my diet etc.
After indoor track I stopped running and followed a 12 week muscle and weight gain diet and lifting program that a poster here suggested.
I was sick of fighting running injuries and got cheated on and dumped by my long time girlfriend so I was on a mission. I had tried dating at my running weight for about 7 months with poor results.
I gained about 25 pounds over the 12 weeks.
The before and after results looked really good and women found me way more attractive.at the heavier weight. Granted I was proud of myself and probably more self confident.
As I mentioned I had non dating type of women such as co-workers, female relatives, other random trusted females say I looked way way way better at the heavier weight.
The other posters flamed me and my story but it simply is true. Look around you at any shopping mall or airport your average woman is a little on the heavier side and a super skinny running guy is really looked upon as a freak by most women.
I now have several women in a rotation and "multiple projects" working if you know what I mean. I have become kind of a man whore. haha
