Is there anywhere I can obtain a ist of all busted drug cheats, not just in running (though that would be good too) and what countries they are from? Any links etc?

Jerry Garcia
Jimi Hendrix
Eric Clapton
Jimmy Page
Frank Zappa
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Eddie Van Halen
All of these guys used illegal substances to enhance their creative performance - honest, clean guys like me didn't have a chance. They all should have been banned for life; God knows they wouldn't have been any good without the drugs.
I've started my own list, but I've limited it to runners only. The list of throwers would be immense. At least this will get you started.

Didn't Cosmas Ndeti get busted for some type of stimulant as a junior? Relatedly, isn't one of the reasons that stimulants - including caffeine - are banned is that they serve as masking agents for other drugs, especially steroids?
hey Anti-drug, nice list, all seem pretty accurate.
With present technology masking is no longer an issue. Diuretics don't really mask anything, they dilute the urine but also flush drugs out faster.
You forgot a big one: Mourhit
What about Jarmila Kratchovilova (sp?) She had to be juiced-her 400/800 times were sick (FloJo-ish) in 1983 but can't remember if she was ever busted.

Four out of the seven guy's on your list are banned for life, they are dead. I say do drugs, do the one that make you feel good not the ones that will make you run fast. Smoke some weed eat some mushrooms or something its fun and you only live once. I run 75mpw (5k-14:41 on 11/8/03)and smoke a joint everynight.
It would be informative to have what they tested positive for.
Also, who their coach/agent is.
Mohammed Mourhit tested positive for EPO.
So now we can add:
EPO: Mehdi Baala, Fra 1500m
THG: Regina Jacobs (aka Reginaroid)1500m, Dwain Chambers UK 100m
Modafinol: Kelly White 100m, Chryste Gaines 100m, Sandra Glover 400h, Calvin Harrison? 400m (all U.S.)
Also a Brazilian woman 800m runner who appeared out of nowhere in 2001 was busted in 2002 for, I think, nandralone (steroid)
I still can't believe there is no available formal database (WADA or IAAF) for this info.

I believe it was the other French 1500 runner, who's record Baala broke (set a few weeks earlier) that tested positive. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I don't see how you have Bernard Lagat on your list if he was exonerated - shouldn't the list show those who tested positive?
Distance runner Delilah Asiago was suspended for two years after testing positive for a steroid and Simon Kemboi was sent home from Sydney when traces of nandrolone were found in his urine sample.

Yes, it was Chouki. While no one is above suspicion, I sure hope Baala is clean -- he\'s a personal fave as his wife ran for my alma mater.
Elana Meyer was cleared of any wrong doing. scientist testify on her case. i dont understand why do you call her a drug cheat.
i will try and look for that article if i can find it.
HERE ARE THE FACTS
Professor Tim Noakes, head of the Sport Science Institute in Newlands, said on Tuesday abnormally high readings could be obtained through urine tests in some cases. He also said caffeine had relatively little effect on athletes.
Noakes said that - speaking as sport scientist - it would be very harsh of the National Olympic Committee of South Africa to prohibit Meyer from participating in the Olympics in Athens next year after her positive test for caffeine. "I don't believe it would be acceptable," said Noakes.
Caffeine increases blood pressure. This leads to increased heart-rate and the secretion of acidity in the stomach. Attempts were made a couple of years ago to have caffeine removed from the list of prohibited substances, but a decision was taken later to retain it.
Daphne Bradbury, chief executive of the Institute for Drug-free Sport, said this list was currently being reviewed and the new list would be announced by the World Anti-doping Agency (Wada) in September.
Comment and recommendations - including views on the inclusion of caffeine - would be taken into account before the list was finalised in January 2004. She said it would then be included in Wada's international code, aimed at formulating a uniform policy for all sporting codes in all
