re: the thread from 9/1 about whether or not the the calf pain might be a stress fracture... i have a followup question: how do you know if it might be ok to run through a very minor stress fracture? if it is minor enough, will it still heal, and just take longer? i have something similar to what he described, but it comes and goes and isn't really painful to run on all the time, yet its definitely there... is it ok to just run on treadmills/soft surfaces for awhile & see if it goes away?
