I haven't heard anything on the blood test.
I haven't heard anything on the blood test.
They're still figuring how they can fix this up, get rid of his B sample, and say it was all a mistake so the powers that be can save face, and the status quo can remain.
I'm not really sure how this B sample stuff works...for example, if they haven't taken the B sample yet, by the time they take it, won't the EPO be completely out of Lagat's system, thereby insuring a negative B sample? What's the deal?

The 'A' and 'B' sample are from the same urine specimen. You give one urine sample of approx 100ml, of which 75ml is put into the 'A' sample jar, and the remanider put into the 'B' sample. Both samples are sealed in the same box and go to the lab. The 'A' sample is tested at the lab and if it is positive the athlete is notified and is told they can be present for the testing of the 'B' sample.
They're going to let Lagat give them a new, clean B sample.
